India is my country and i'm proud to be an Indian. It is a bast country and it ranks as the seventh largest country in the world. It is the second most populated country in the world. It is also known as Bharat, Hindustan and Aryavart.
India is a Peninsula which means it is surrounded by oceans from three sides. There are a few important symbols of India, i.e., the national animal as tiger, the national bird as peacock,the national flower as lotus, the national fruit as mango, the national anthem as "Jana Gana Mana", the national song as "Vande Matram", the national sport as hockey and the national flag which has tricolour-saffron, white and green with the Ashoka Chakra in the middle strap is known as our Indian flag
India is a land of gods and a nursery of temples and mosques. India is a country where the people of different castes, creed, religions and cultures which lives together and speak different languages.
India is rich in monuments, tombs, churches, historical places of architecture, and many many more tourist places which are the source of income to it. It is also a country of great rivers, mountains, valleys, lakes and oceans.
India is a country of great leaders and freedom fighters. The Indian soldiers are on borders to protect us from terrorist and terrorist attacks.
India is first and foremost in my thoughts. I love my motherland India cause it is my country and my pride.
