A Day Without Water

Just a week into my summer vacation as I woke up I heated the doorbell rang . I opened the door , a watchman was alarming , telling us that there would be no water throughout the day . I rushed to bathe ,but a small stream of water following by a few drops were the only thing I could get.
Soon enough my friend called me to play downstairs . After we had a lot of fun in the scorching heat ,I came back with a unquenchable thirst . I was parched and dehydrated . As there was no water me and my mother managed to cook food from whatever we had .
It was evening and everyone were going out because cool winds were blowing . All the elderly people were discussing about the losses . The farmers were unhappy because their crops were dying . All the people in the factory went for a strike . And lastly if this problem continues there would be no electricity .
My pet dog Bruno who is always active and mischievous was too sitting in the corner of the room . Meanwhile me and my friend were deciding the solutions - rainwater harvesting , saving water ourselves( which is to take less water while bathing and brushing , installing new flushes ) and besides we decided to speed awareness and taking ode's .
We realized that water is the ultimate source of life and biosphere would not exist Without it . As it is rightly said " You will have to save water as if your life depends on it because one day it may "
