A day without water

You wake up to the sunshine shining on your face, and think, '' What a wonderful day this is.'' . The cool breeze blows in and you get up and go to give yourself a cool ,sweet cup of water. But... Wait. Why is your water filter not working? Well, You'll just go and get some water from the fridge. Except there is no water in the fridge. Then you remember. It's No Water Day! You think, ''It can't be TOO bad.'' . But it certainly seems that it is, because you can smell half fried egg . ''Eww! Mum knows that I hate it!'' when your mother presents it to you, and you take a bite, you immediately spit it right out. It tastes even worse than before! Reluctantly ,though, you push it all down your throat. Later ,you ask your mom why she cooked something that even she hated. ''Well, that was the only thing I could cook without water.'' she replied. Maybe it'll get better? So with a parched throat and a bad taste in your mouth, you head out to play a game of cricket. Mistake! You come back with a throat drier than dry, and a need for a cool shower. But there's no water ,of course. You can't even eat. You can't even sleep. You stay awake until midnight, waiting for No Water Day to be over. Finally after a long gulp of water, you realise on this day, how important water is.
