There are many different ideas and opinions of people on space travel and interstellar colonization, some think it is a waste of time money and effort and some think space travel is now becoming the latest fad as more and more sci- fi movies and stuff are being based on the concept.

The idea of the colonization of Mars has been around for quite a while now, but is this idea actually practical, or is it abstract or just fiction?

Space travel and interstellar colonization are infact practical things, according to some scientists they can help us learn more about our origin, and the origin of space and time! How far is our end, and will there be a rebirth of the Universe? Is the Universe end less if so what lies in the depths of space millions of light year away, if no then what is outside the boundaries of the Universe, a Multi verse! There are countless other questions that can be answered by looking and exploring the existence around us. More over it is every human being living on this planet right to know where we came from and where we are going.

On the other hand space travel involves a great risk also, and we will have to pay a great prize for the smallest mistakes we make. There can be a glitch in the rocket at any time, immediately after take off, after complete exploration, on the other planet itself, or just before landing and all this would only have one result fatalities and lost data. Are our rockets and operating systems ready for such a mission? If yes then how can you be so sure. If no then is it possible to invent such a thing.

In conclusion I think the latter is correct space travel and interstellar colonization are still idea to be developed, until there is not some revolutionary idea or invention we should stop wasting time and money on such an abstract concept.
