    A day without water
What is the most precious commodity in the world according to you? Is it Gold, Silver, Platinum or Diamond? According to me, it is water. A drop of water is worth more than a sack of gold to a thirsty man. Without water that day is not quite far. A day without water is almost equal to death while living. According to scientific reports, water might completely disappear from earth in the next 100 years if the same amount of water is wasted every year. If that ever happens then our grandchildren will not know what water is! That is a very scary situation. As there are legends about extinct animals, water might someday take their place. There might be no elixir to trench your thirst! No water to have bath, no water to cook. Taking the current situation in to consideration, in the future, days without any water is quite possible.
There are millions of cases when we imagine no water. We might have water, but, it might be so impure that just touching we might contract diseases. We might have to go to Antarctica to get fresh water. We might need to melt those icebergs to get water as it may be the only fresh water resource in the future. Our imagination runs wild when we think of it. But if you ever experience it? Your frustration is 10 times more than your imagination.

So now none of us want this situation. But the how do we prevent it? So, let’s start conserving water. We need to fill mother earth with water and not a bucket. The more rain water we harvest the further we are scheduling ‘A day without water’. And if we keep doing this for a really long time then we will be able to cancel the session on ‘A day without water’. An action that we perform is all what matters. Because when 7 billion people do the same thing, it changes the world.
