Hi! Today I am going to share my experience about India. Though I was born in India, I spent my initial years in America. Since I was studying in an American school, they spoke about the greatness of America, I thought I was also part of the American land. Like my fellow school mates, I too enjoyed wearing the American flag.

My parents made me realise that I was not an American, but an Indian. I was sad that I was not an American that is when my father told me about the greatness of India. I was very curious to know about this nation called "India"

Greatness of India-Pride of My country
    ----------------------------------------------
I came to know that India is one of the oldest country with rich cultural heritage. India was ruled by many great kings and there were several kingdoms. India has so many different languages, cultures and many religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, jainism, etc were originated from India. India has got huge mountains like the Himalayas, dry desert in Rajasthan, thick forests and heavy rainfall in the North East part, Deccan plateau in the south, great rivers like Ganges, Yamuna and Kaveri, etc flowing through India, great architecture like TajMahal, Khajuraho,Redfort,Goldentemple,Madurai Meenaxi temple, etc depicting the greatness of the country.

Though there are varied types of culture still all the people live peacefully under the flag of India with the single identity "Indian" giving justification to the saying "Unity in Diversity".
India never invaded any country in its long history though it has one of the biggest armies in the world.
India has so much wealth not only in monetary term but also in moral term. India not only have great past history but also has an energetic, vibrant and thoughtful youth and young population.
There are so many varieties of yummy food in India.
India has big network of Railways connecting different parts of the country.

My father also told me that there are two big epics of ancient India%3A The Ramayana and The Mahabharatha. Then through youtube I started watching the stories to know about these epics. I was astonished to see the beauty of the epics and felt really proud to be an Indian. I started gathering information and studied about the greatness of India. That is when I realised that I was fortunate to be an Indian.

When I got enrolled in the Indian school after we shifted back to India, I got to know about my very own National Anthem during morning assembly hour. I could feel the spirit of India through my nerves when I see the tri-colour flag waving in the wind and hearing the national anthem. The moment I hear National Anthem, I automatically stand up involuntarily.

Finally I conclude with the slogan,

    Jai Hind! Jai Hind!
